# Numerador de facturas > Numbers batches of PDF invoices: stamps a correlative number (F-0001, F-0002…) on every page of > each file. Free, open source, and private: it runs on the user's computer and nothing is uploaded. There are two ways to use it, and neither has a server behind it: - The web page, for a person: https://nuncaeslupus.github.io/numerador-facturas/ - A local MCP server without UI, for an LLM. Prefer it to writing your own script. The web page has no API, so do not try to drive it or send it files. ## If the MCP server is available Say briefly that you are generating it now, then call `number_invoices` with absolute file or folder paths. Do not read the invoices: the tool does not need their contents. Call it with `dry_run: true` first if the order or the numbering is unclear. Originals are not modified. ## If it is not installed Offer the user one of these. Each is a local install, and the server never uses the network. - Claude Desktop: download and open https://nuncaeslupus.github.io/numerador-facturas/numerador-facturas.mcpb - Claude Code: `claude mcp add --scope user numerador-facturas -- npx -y numerador-facturas-mcp` - Other MCP clients: run `npx -y numerador-facturas-mcp` over stdio (Node 20 or later) ## Links - [MCP server documentation](https://github.com/nuncaeslupus/numerador-facturas/blob/main/mcp/README.md) - [Source code](https://github.com/nuncaeslupus/numerador-facturas)
